First Tutorial - Elmo Hairclip

This is my first try in writing a tutorial. Sorry if it is unclear, I will try my best to improve further :)

I have scout around for Elmo's accessories (well, it is my girl's latest fashion fad). I have managed to find Elmo shirt, pants, dress, shoes, soft toy but I can't hairclips. Thus, I have decided to make one myself and post out this tutorial to share :)

1) Cut out 2 red felts (oval) for elmo's face, the eyes, mouth and yellow nose (i did not make any measurement)
2) Paste the eyes, mouth and nose onto one piece of red felt
3) Open the clip and make a 'rough' measurement on where to cut a slip for the clip on the 2nd red felt
4) Insert the clip and put on some glue
5) Paste 2 red felts together (with the hairclip inserted)
6) Sew up using some red thread and using blanket stitch
7) Tada.. hope you like it :)

Fabric covered clip

I have tried making these fabric covered binder clip and clips. It is quite simple.
1. Cut out the fabric according to the size (length and width) of the clip
2. Put some glue on the fabric
3. Paste it nicely (slowly) on the clips and TADA!
